Ko vstopimo v prostor, kjer čarobno lepo diši, iz globin duše globoko vdihnemo in se strastno prepustimo razvajanju naših čutil. Kako tudi ne, saj zgodovina uporabe aromatičnih kadil sega v sam začetek našega obstoja – v čas, ko smo ljudje začutili moč ognja. Spoznali smo, da les in drugi naravni materiali s katerimi kurimo, ustvarjajo omamen vonj – korenine, listi, lupine, trave … čutno prebujajo dušo in telo. Začeli smo jih uporabljati v medicinske, duhovne in magične namene, postali so del ritualov in molitev. Kot kadilo lahko uporabimo smole (npr. kadilna bosvelija, mira, benzoin). Poslužujemo se lahko lesa, kot sta sandalovina ali palo santo (sveti les). Vedno so nam na razpolago rastline z domačih travnikov, gozdov in vrtov: sivka, žajbelj, vrtnica, brin. Božično vzdušje ustvarimo s posušenimi koščki pomarančne lupine, cimetom, klinčki, kardamomom.

The world of fragrances

When we enter a room where it smells magically beautiful, we take a deep breath from the depths of our soul and passionately indulge in the pampering of our senses. Why not, because the history of the use of aromatic incense goes back to the very beginning of our existence – to the time when humans felt the power of fire. We realized that wood and other natural materials with which we burn create an intoxicating smell – roots, leaves, bark, grass… they sensuously awaken the soul and body. We began to use them for medicinal, spiritual and magical purposes, they became part of rituals and prayers. Resins can be used as incense (e.g. incense boswellia, myrrh, benzoin). We can use woods such as sandalwood or palo santo (sacred wood). Plants from local meadows, forests and gardens are always at our disposal: lavender, sage, rose, juniper. We create a Christmas atmosphere with dried pieces of orange peel, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom.

 

With the aroma of scented sticks, we can create a pleasant atmosphere in the room. They also help us clean the space energetically. With them we can bring peace, love and light. Let us surrender to the love of Mother Nature to take us into the arms of beings of light.
